The Royal Rumble has been my favorite Pay-Per-View since I was a little kid. It’s easily the most fun event of the year, and I always get a kick out of the surprises and unpredictability that comes with throwing thirty pro wrestlers in the same ring at the same time. The rest of the card for this year’s event doesn’t really thrill me, but I will always love the Rumble match. So without further ado, let’s break it on down…
So much has happened in the WWE since the last time I wrote a wrestling-related post. First and foremost, my top three current favorite wrestlers are now champions. I honestly never thought I’d see the day where Shinsuke Nakamura, AJ Styles and Kevin Owens would be holding the three top titles in the company. As much as things have changed in the WWE over the past year, it’s still completely surreal.
There have been tons of new developments in the WWE over the past several weeks… and Doomsday Device has been extremely quiet on the wrestling front. That might seem rather odd, but so much has happened so quickly that I felt like I needed some time to process everything before I commented on any of it. Now that I’ve had the opportunity to gather my thoughts, let’s dig in, shall we?
Between Sunday night’s Extreme Rules PPV , the following Monday’s Raw and the last few days since, much has transpired in the world of WWE, which means there’s a whole heck of a lot to talk about. There appear to be some pretty massive changes on the way that have the potential to “shake the company to its very foundations,” so I thought it might be fun to take a look at everything that’s gone on. Let’s break it down.
Another month, another WWE pay-per-view. But unlike last month’s rather lacking Wrestlemania card, Payback has quite a few matches that I’m actually looking forward to. Let’s break it on down.
Well, Wrestlemania weekend has come and gone, and overall it was pretty darn entertaining, albeit somewhat strange and baffling at the same time. Since I hate long winded intros, let’s get right down to business and break down the highlights of the weekend and the Raw after Wrestlemania.
I can’t really say I’ve been excited for a Wrestlemania card in years and 2016 is no exception. I have every intention of watching it with an open mind, but I’d be lying if I said I was expecting much. But it is the biggest pro wrestling event of the year, so without further ado, let’s break it down.
